An contemporary portrait of the great Francophone singer Salvatore Adamo, who writes the music and lyrics of all his songs. During this road movie between Paris and Brussels, the performer reviews his 40-year career through his most famous songs.
Adamo was born in Italy, but his family moved to Belgium in 1947. He knew tremendous success in the Sixties and since then has gone on to international fame through his romantic melodies – in France, Belgium, Germany, Japan, South America and in Russia. He is an enormous star whose onstage generosity is always touching.
This film is an opportunity to meet a man who is open to our times and is sensitive to everything happening today, from a social, political or cultural standpoint.
Adamo has a sense for friendshhip which he developed with a great lyricist like french singer George Brassens, but he also appreciates other performers such as Belgian Arno.
