This film present an intimate profile of the new Portuguese Fado star, 28 year-old, Katia Guerreiro, admired by her peers and adored by her dedicated public following, who is a main participant in the current revival of this soul-wrenching song form.

Autobiographical portrait of a singer, historical film about the Fado phenomenon as well as a musical film (using concert footage), this documentary was shoot in Lisbon, in Paris and in the Azores Islands, with guest appearances of the great Fado singers Joâo Braga and Camané, the Portuguese minister Antonio Monteiro or the movie actress Maria de Medeiros.

This film allows Fado fans, as well as the general public, to experience the life emanating from the Fado, this song form which symbolizes the city of Lisbon, capital of Portugal.
